Teaching

I hold theory lessons and exercise sessions of an Operations Research course for undergraduate students in Engineering and Management at Politecnico di Torino. The course covers basic topics in linear programming, duality theory, integer linear programming, algorithms in graph theory. I also hold a PhD course on more advanced topics in linear programming, dynamic programming and randomized algorithms. You can find the synopsis of the PhD course here.

I always enjoy lessons. Are you a curious student? would you like to learn optimization techniques and algorithms and to know some of their applications in everyday life, even in sudoku game? Then, join in!

Former Students:

  • Gabriele Dragotto (Bachelor Degree, Politecnico di Torino, 2018)

Thesis title: Fair players allocation in ATP Tournaments generation. A combinatorial optimization approach. (Gabriele's work attracted also the attention of the Italian press, see this link (in Italian))
